Same thing as every winter-remaining redoak acorns, greenbriar and honeysuckle etc. Same old same old.
My plots are only being used at night. Most of the deer around my farm are staying near cover during daylight hours. I hunted a hardwood ridge (mainly white oaks) this morning. I saw 7 deer before 8 am.... they were digging in the leaves for the remaining acorns.
