Rather than relying on what a few limited individuals might know, I'd go to one of the major powder manufacturer websites.

Besides, it's not particularly smart or safe to get loading data from individuals anyway.
Now that I've said all that, congratulations on having an interesting varmint cartridge there. I've always wanted a 225 just to have one. I had an acquaintance years ago who had a custom rifle based on a 98 Mauser in 225 Winchester that I tried to get to sell to me but he never would.

1st let me apologize if my above comment came off sounding condescending. That was not my intent. 
2nd, if I may ask, what rifle do you have? I'm guessing it's one of the model 70's from the 60's? I think the fact that the 225 came along at the very same time as the infamous Model 70 redesign in 1964 is a key reason the 225 never gained much acceptance. Regardless, I love all things .224 diameter. Someday I plan to get a heavy barrel 225 for sure.

No problem, yes it is a heavy barrel model 70 Win. The 1/14 twist barrel limits the bullets it shoots well. It shoots the 40 grain N. Varmageddon great, and just shot a clover with the Sierra Varminter 50 grain. All are short flat base bullets. Doesnt like the longer bullets.

I would think it would shoot any of the flat base 60 grain bullets too but I've always liked the 50 or 55 grains myself for the bigger 22 centerfires. It still sounds odd to me when people talk about the "slow" twist rates of the old 22 varmint rifles. If you use them for what they were intended for, rather than trying to make deer rifles out of them, they are fine. In fact, I recall Jim Carmichael specifically specifying a 1 in 16 twist for his 22 Cheetah for better accuracy. I had a factory 22-250 Remington 40X re-chambered to 22 Cheetah and of course it has the factory 1 in 14 twist of the 22-250. Those twist rates shot just fine for years until somebody decided he wanted to kill deer with a 223.
I do like that Sierra Varminter 50 grain. For a long time that was my favorite Cheetah bullet. 41 grains of IMR 4320 got about 4,180 fps and would absolutely devastate a ground hog. That's with a 27.5 inch barrel though.

I have been shooting the 100 cases i bought when we started loading it. The two above bullets is the only ones that will shot a nice group. I have tryed many 55 grain and a few 60 grain with no luck. It shoots the 40 N. Varmigeddon great but will spray the 55 grain all over the place, it is a lot longer bullet. I guess i will start shooting the 50 grain Varminter, i was wonting something a little bigger than the 40 grain. P.S. Tryed many powder and bullet combos. :bash:

Well, if it won't shoot 'em, it won't shoot 'em! There are lots of lighter 224 bullets out there to try. The most finicky 22 I've got is my 220 Swift which is a Remington 700 Varmint Synthetic. I got it $100 of the regular price because it was a "last years model" whatever year it was that they went from a 24" to 26" barrel. I figured I'd take the shorter barrel to save $100. I finally got some good loads but it definitely was way more finicky than I expected. I've got a sporter Model 700 Mountain rifle in 221 Fireball that is the main reason I bought up a bunch of the Sierra 50 Grain Blitz bullets for. That little cartridge is about perfect with a 50 grainer.
I bet that 225 with the 40 grain bullet will shoot flat. There's just something about 22 centerfires that has always cranked my tractor. :tu:

I worked up a load for my grandfathers old .225 Win (mid '60's Winchester rifle). It shot great, I'd have to dig out the loadbook to find out what I used, but I ended up using a Remington Varmiter in 22-250 instead of the .225. Pretty nice round, rare as hen's teeth since the 22-250 and the 220 swift came out.
