I have a rem 700 pss in 223 rem. It shoots cheap 55 gr factory ammo really well. I just want to shoot something heavier. When I go any heavier than 55 gr, the bullets are all over the paper. I also hate the fact that I have to worry about shooting 556. I was thinking about going 223 wylde because it can safely shoot both 223 and 556. Its been said to shoot both more accurately than barrels chambered for their specific round. I have been contemplating re-barreling in 223 wylde with a 1:7 twist to address both my issues. Has anyone ever done this or see issues with going down this path?
