223 Rem 75 gr load data ??

anybody have a pet load for the 75 gr weight class in the 223 Rem with a 24 inch bbl,,

I will start with Varget unless somebody can lead me off in a different direction ?????

Varget would be my first choice for the 223. I know Varget and 70gr. Berger VLD's are a good combo.

My gunsmith likes Benchmark. I have no specifics on his load, but he gets good accuracy out of his 223 with it.

just found a box of 80 gr Berger VLD`s on top of the safe,,the guys on ACCURATERELOADING.com say some 9`s will shoot them and some wont,,

I will load 5-6 and see if they hit the target sideways before loading many,,

a .224 bullet with a .470 BC would be awesome,,probably wont work with the 9 twist though,,

I've a sweet spot with hornady htbp and amax 75gr with 24.5gr of varget.

This is going through a savage 10 with mcgowen 1:7 twist 20" barrel.

I would be real satisfied when the CZ arrives if it will shoot the 75 AMax,,and it will be nice if Varget works well with it as that is the powder I use most in my AR and the SOCOM 16.
