Ive always been a fan of heavier bullets on deer, but I decided to carry my 222 Saturday morning for a doe. I shoot 180gr in my 30-06 and 308. I just wanted to do it.I went with a mindset of not shooting unless I had the perfect shot. Guess I wanted to see. Well I flubbed the perfect, through the ribs shot, but it did completely break the entry shoulder and proceeded through the offside should and stopped under the skin still intact. Perfectly mushroomed. Will I use it on deer again, nope, but I had to satisfy my curiosity.
