Turns out my .22 rifle will handle all forms of .22 ammunition. I've never shot shorts before but I'm thinking of putting some through the rifle so I know how to adjust the scope for them. Now to my question...what do you use shorts for?! Short range squirrels and rabbits? Plinking? Backyard pests without disturbing the neighbors?
 
I like to use the CB-longs for squirrel.

With a regular .22 they tend to run if you miss. with the CB they freeze for a second or 2 giving me a second shot. I also don't have to wear any ear protection while hunting.

i got caught doing that. had to go back to the BB gun. they must have 20+ of those aggrevating things. they seem to reproduce like rabbits. If they just had a couple i wouldn't mind they should have a leash on em.
