what is your favorite best shooting match type 22 ammo..

a guy gave me a box of 50 Wolf Match Target that will do nothing but shoot through the same hole at 25 yards in JW`s CZ 513..

does anybody know where you can get this stuff local,,or is this gonna be strictly an order online item??

I would like to try this out a little more with Ethans 452 American,,it isnt all that expensive compared to some other Match ammo I have seen..

My dealer has the Wolf Match Extra. Shoots .3 at 50 yards out of my Savage Mark 2 BRJ with me laying prone. For the money at $2.50/box the Blazers suprised me at how well they shot.

The Wolf Match Extra is the best I've ever shot. I bought a couple of bricks when it was about $3 a box and have just 2 boxes left. Last time I checked it was at or over $7 per box of 50 :-(

CCI Standard Velocityis now my 'go to' ammo for the .22s. Very consistent in all aspects and subsonic so it sounds good thru the suppressors too.

CCI SGB shoot great in my 10-22, and put squirrels down very well. CCI Green Tags shoot well, but I don't like the bullet design for hunting.

WW T22 used to be some good stuff also,,aint seen any of it n years either..

my brother shoots SK Standard Plus in his Kimber that does real well also.I see it at places online for 44$ per 500..

Last I oredered was over a year ago and I didn't have to pay haz mat s/h fee,unless they have changed something ammo dosen't come under it.

I kill about 100 squirrels a yr with a bulk pack remington high velocity hollow points .

4 hit the ground for me with these this weekend. The 525 a box golden bullets. Shots were all between 40-60 yards. I also was about 75% breaking beer bottles at 100 yards. Not bad for the cheap stuff!

Had a brick of Federal Gold Medal that was scary accurate at 50 yards. I can't find the dang stuff though, It's burried in the garage somewhere.

they both shoot the bulk Federal from walmart at 18$ per 550 pretty dang good,,that is what I squirrel hunt with also,,plenty accurate for that.

but they do throw wild fliers like one ever 20-30 shots,,

at 25 yards you can have 23 shots in one hole and 2 3/4-1 inch out somewhere..

I want to try something a little better.

The Federal Gold Medal is Match ammo, not the bulk stuff.

Winchester power point HP are some of the most accurate I have shot. Not too expensive and that hollow point is huge for a22 lr

Gander Mtn usually has some of the Wolf MT but you will pay extra for it there. Sportsmans Guide or Cheaper than dirt had a deal over a year ago where I split 5 bricks with a buddy for 200.00 shipped. Midway carries them as well. I don't know of any local small stores that carry it.
