What ammo does the best out of your .22mag ?

Gonna turn it into a yote gun. I've been running the Hornady 30gr. Vmax in it. But looking into other options that are a little less pricey.

The cheap winchester 40 grain solids shoot the best out of my 22 mag... the Hornady do not shoot bad but just not as good as the Winchester

Do a search for TargetSportsUSA. best rimfire ammo prices I've seen a in a LONG time, especially if you buy a case at a time.

W C I will look at that site right now.

Trying to make a nice little pred. gun.

whats the gun,,I been drooling over a CZ 452 Full Stock in 22 Mag..

That would be a mean little critter...

This gun is my grandpas old Marlin 783 gold trigger. Suprised how accurate it is with good ammo.

i like the cci but really how many yotes are you going to get a shot at that the cost would hurt?.i would like to try out the new self defense from hornaday as i bet its a hot round.i squirrel hunt with mine & used winchester with good accuracy.aint non of it cheap now.

Those Hornady 45gr defense loads look pretty sweet.

Those are made for handguns for close range defense.

Yep.. reckon they put a fast burn powder in them for the short barrel of a handgun.

Not only that but if they are like the other critical defense ammo they have there is low flash and it's made not to plug up the hollow point with clothing. I have those rounds in my 380 and 9mm handguns and I'm thinking of getting them for my 357 mag.

You can use it in rifles if you want to but so far I can't find anything.

This is off the link you posted.

Optimized for short-barreled firearms, the 22 WMR features clean burning propellants with low flash and blast to help protect night vision.

If it's optimized for short barrel firearms it would work in a long rifle but just how well they will work we'll have to see.

I've been trying to buy some for 3 months now but so far I can't find anybody who has them in stock. They all say sometime in July-Aug.
