Lets hear some reviews. I have a marlin model 60 22 lr. Im having cycling issues, some bullets get bent going into the chamber and some just click and no bang. I have completely taken the gun apart and cleaned everything and it still wont shoot a whole tube without a misfire. Ive shot remington golden bullets and viper thru it. They group very well but want something more reliable.
 
I have owned the same gun for nearly 30yrs, I experience cycling problems when the action gets dirty.

I have had the best results with CCI stinger ammo, less fouling and great performance. It is the only ammo I use in this gun.

Clean your rifle real good and use CCI Minimags or Winchester Power points. Get rid of the Remingtons. They do some things well but .22 ammo is definitely not one of them.
 
Fed Automatch ammo at Walmart is the best cheap ammo I have shot in a long time,,we have probably shot 25-30 325 round boxes in the last 18 months,,I cant remember having any fail to fire or ejects,,but most were shot from a CZ bolt rifle,,

Fed 711b starts to show improvements over Automatch,,next step up is Wolf Match Target,,then RWS 50,,but if shooting for money Lapua is where its at,even over Eley in my rifles,

Yep. for bulk the fed auto, and higher end stuff the wolf. The CCI is really good too. It gets overlooked a lot, but will shoot better than the federal auto generally

I have owned that same rifle for many years. I started having cycling issues about three years after I purchased it. Took it to my local gunsmith who replaced a small part in it and has worked great for the past 30 years or so. I don't remember what he replaced, but he did tell me it was a small defective part put in when it was made. The gunsmith made the part himself that he replaced. Said he has fixed a lot of these rifles.
