22 Benchrest Adapter Helped

It was too pretty this morning to stay at the house so I went to the range and tried out the benchrest adapter that I posted about a couple of days ago. All went well and with a little practice and ammo trial it should work out. Here's a couple of groups shot at 50 yards with the Wolf 22 long rifle ammo.

Allright I confess....that hole is 4 shots and the fifth is under the penny. Either the ammo or I had a problem.
Here's another full 5 shots without the penny.

Things look promising.

That is outstanding shooting with a .22lr at 50 yards. I am happy if my 25yard groups look that good with my good rifle. What sort of rifle did you use to shoot them? PH

Yep it does look like it did.

The rifle is a Kimber SVT. It's an ugly little short barreled thing but it shoots good.

Oh, the damage I could do to a mess of squirrels with that thing!
