What type of .22 ammunition do you like for your rifle? I've got some CCI ammo that I bought years ago but I hear they've come out with some new stuff recently. I use the 550 Federal packs for my pistol and I'll try it in the rifle but I want something else to try in case I'm not overly pleased with the performance of the bulk pack.
 
Well I use bulk pack too but it's the Remington Golden Bullet. Plenty accurate in my guns and very reliable. Didn't have very good results with the Federal in my 10-22.
 
CCI have been the most accurate and the most reliable in my rifles. Every rifle is different, so you may have to try a few different rounds to see what your rifle likes.

I've tried a lot of different ammo in my 22s and by far and away for price and performance I can't beat the Wolf brand. They're not available in a hollow point type and they're not a high velocity round but if you want a standard velocity solid they shoot as well or better than a lot of the premium price target brands. A squirrel's head won't know the difference.

Yep... Listen to the above... the best shooting ammo at the price bar none....
 
Federal UMB-1...they used to offer the U S Olympic ammo to the public. Back in 2003 it cost nearly $13 a box of fifty. Second to the federal is Eley Ten-X.
