209 breech plug

Anyone know where to get a breech plug for the older accura for bh209? Not the quick release one that you see advertised. I shoot BH and love it, just think the improved breech plug will be more reliable. Thanks

The only bh209 plug that I know of is for the quick release plugs.

Yep. Don't think they make a breech plug for the older Accura's and Optima's to shoot bh209. I have an older Optima with the hex head style plug. I simply opened the flash channel up with a 5/32" bit and opened the flash hole up to .032", which is a #65 drill bit if I remember correctly. Shoots like a dream with no hangfires or mis-fires. Also, run that drill bit through the plug after shooting and turn it slowly by hand to remove any carbon build up in the flash hole.
