I'll be throwing out a hail Mary on some hunts with low draw odds, but I haven't fully committed to what I want to do this year. My wife keeps asking when I'm going to hunt Columbian Blacktails and finish my deer slam, so I'm kind of leaning that direction, but I've also got a bunch of mule deer points in Wyoming that are burning a hole in my pocket and want used.

I may finally burn my 15 Wyoming elk points unless I get lucky again in NM or AZ for elk. Probably helping on CO first season elk. Will throw darts at the wall for everything in 9 states in west. Idaho, MT, Maine, NH moose draws - I just want one dang moose in the lower 48. Getting close to a Az late deer tag for the Kaibab. Wyoming elk is due Jan 31 - apply for a hunt even if you have just a couple points. You might get a random draw !!
 
I'll continue to waste $ and accumulate points in AZ, UT, MT, SD, CO, IA, NV.

Myself, wife and daughter will be putting in for top end WY deer n elk units and mid tier pronghorn units. Most likely I'll be buying general deer n elk tags for me. This summer I'm starting my life long quest to hunt and kill a 200" high country muley ( I mean, what else am I gonna do 🤷‍♂️).
This spring I'm also applying for bear bait sites in WY. Not sure if it's my thing or not but I'm gonna give it a go.

Sounds like @AT Hiker is tndeer's resident host and guide in WY. Maybe I should have taken him a couple shoulder mounts back in the day. 😉
 
Got my first kid due in July, so gonna do the responsible thing and stay closer to home...... Unless I draw one of the many hail Mary tags I'm gonna apply for! Lol. Getting close to double digit points in a few states so who knows.... ive drew a 1.5% elk tag before and already drew a 1% turkey tag for this spring.
 
My plan is to hunt in the North West Tennessee area. Maybe some Turkeyosaurus rex in the spring and some coyote ugly between now and then.

Not even sure this year. A lot of life changes. Some not for the better but some are. Building points. May try to pull that Hail Mary. Just not sure. I do know that I don't think I will ever have a better year than this past year and I didn't even kill anything. It was absolutely amazing.

I'm applying for another elk tag in NM. I probably used all my luck there drawing a 16b tag this past year. I plan to also apply for a Wyoming random elk tag in one of the Park County units. And lastly, apply for a Wyoming Bighorn sheep tag IF even one is offered to us non-resident beggars. I now have 20 WY sheep preference points but at 69 years old I don't see me drawing soon enough to do the hunt. Good luck to everyone who applies!

I have a south florida turkey tag for first week of March.
For sure will be in Illinois for gun season and iowa gun season chasing whitetail.
Western hunts is undecided at this point. But will for sure apply in new Mexico and Utah for elk. North Dakota for deer. Arizona for elk is also a must.
Just need a few more points for quality draws in montana and colorado elk.
Wyoming is questionable for deer and antelope due to bad winters in past few years. Think I will just build some more points.

I am seriously considering a mexico dove & duck combo if I can find a couple more guys who want to go. That will be a blast!
