2016 SeaArk tournament on Wheeler lake

We had a great time fishing the 2016 SeaArk boat owners invitational tournament down at Wheeler lake in Alabama last week. My son, his girlfriend, and I fished Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the tournament on Saturday. The conditions were windy, but we were able to deal with it and we caught a lot of fish over 30 pounds. My son and I finished 19th out of 94 boats and weighed in 97 pounds. First place had 175 pounds. Jason Bridges caught the big fish for the tournament that weighed just short of 91 pounds.

I feel so blessed to have had such a good trip and getting to see old friends and meeting some good people. Here are some pre-fishing pictures, and believe me, this girl is tough and she caught em all!

This is my son's boat, it's a 20 foot V-cat. The rod holders are driftmaster pros.
