2015 Archery Shoot Schedule?

I grew up shooting competition 3D shoots and had a blast. I took my wife a couple years ago back home and she ended up placing 3rd in her division and she was hooked. Our daughter is 5 now (the age I started shooting as a peewee) and wed like to get into it again as a family. Camping, bonfires, high priced hotdogs, and shooting :-) I was wondering if there was a master schedule set for 2015 to start planning some camping trips and build some type of anticipation after hunting season. Also do you need to be a club member over hear to shoot certain club shoots or are they all public? Thank you in advance!

DixieCrafter, I believe, is putting together his annual master calendar for the Mid-TN area. After he finishes it, we will see if Ruger will sticky it up top. You do not have to be a member of any of the clubs in Mid-TN to shoot at their shoots—they are all public shoots.

I have several shoots already posted on the calendar and it's a work in progress as clubs get around to posted their schedules. You should check the calendar frequently because it's a work in progress. If you notice errors please feel free to e-mail me the corrections.

Old man Dixiecrafter had a great calendar I also will be listing a lot of the shoots around middle tennessee on our website soon. I believe Frogs in Adams has the honors for the first shoot of the year on the 11th of january

TO is great. they are mostly traditional but do hold a couple of open shoots a year.

Directions to the Shoot Shoots are held at Haynes Bottom Wildlife Management Area on Chester Harris Rd. From the west side of Clarksville, at the intersection of Hwy 79 and Hwy 41-A, take Hwy 79 (Dover Rd) 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Dotsonville Rd. At the end of Dotsonville Rd, turn left, go 200 yds, then turn left onto Chester Harris Rd. Go 3 miles. Turn left onto the gravel road and through the gate. Follow the signs to the Archery Range.

Directions to the Shoot From Nashville take I-24 West to Springfield/Ashland City Exit #24. At end of ramp take a left towards Pleasant View/Ashland City (HWY 49E). Follow HWY 49E into Ashland City. You will be at a stop light and the courthouse/jail will be on your right. Take a right and then an immediate left at the next light. This is Cumberland Street (TN-49). Go over the river approximately 3 miles. Take a left onto Hwy 250. Go approximately 5 miles. You will see a country store on the left. Follow the Archery signs to the Archery range (approximately 3 miles further). The archery range is located on the Cheatham County Wildlife Reserve.

From Nashville: Take I-24 West towards Clarksville. Exit on to Maxey Road (Exit 19). Left to end of Maxey Road. Right on to 41-A North. ~5 miles, Left on to Oak Plains Road. Watch for Twin Oaks signs. Left on to Knox Road. Right on to Ashley Road. For those of you with a GPS, use 36.440350, -87.145700 for the entrance to the club.

How do I get there?
• Traveling I-40 West, take the Hermitage Exit (221, the first one) onto Old Hickory Blvd. Travel approx. 3 miles to the intersection with Lebanon Pike. Take a right onto Lebanon Pike and continue about 2 miles. You will see a Kroger on your left. Turn left onto Shute Lane and travel approx 1 mile (go through stop light).Shute lane is just before the Kroger on your left. Range is on your left.
