This was my son's last juvy turkey hunt and we had a great one.

Nice looking bird, guess must be a little better than you thought with it being to far of a shot but still got him,

Sat. 2:45 pm Hickman County. His first and mine too. I called with slate call and he shot.
What a super exciting day for the both of us.

My son's second bird. 5in beard, 1/2 spurs, 16 lb. Saturday we walked our butts off. Had one sneak in behind us and he couldn't get on him. This morning we weren't in the woods thirty minutes. Great weekend even if the weather was bad.

My youngest daughter with her first turkey. 8.5" beard, 3/4" spurs. 20 gauge, 562 Sumtoy choke, Fed HW# 7 @ 20 yards.

Thanks Andy. Yes, it was in the woods and it is the first bird I have ever had come downhill. One gobble from him above us and he came 70 yards downhill to her. She did well and I am proud of her.

2013 Plateau Longbeards Youth Turkey Hunt Weekend in Jackson Co. We had 18 hunters signed up for the task at punching the very 1st tag on a wild turkey, 10 were successfull! Blessed Weekend!
