Looking at a used one for $1700. The guy says it has 444 hours on it. Worth the money? I'd prefer it to be selectable 4x4 but for the money...

correct on the 350 ... I would love a fuel injected but im thinking for the price its not bad but maybe a little high?. Photos look good, guy has the title so that's a plus. The guys said it runs good. I haven't laid eyes on it yet.
 
I've only personally owned 1 ES rancher, an '01. When I sold it, it wouldn't shift into reverse for nothing. I know of several more that have shifting issues. I replaced the '01 with a '07, foot shift. I'm pleased with it.
