Got a buddy whose wife wants to start shooting skeet some so what would you recommend in a 20 gauge? Needs to be an automatic and he wants to stay around $500.

Stoeger M3020 is a good one that can then be used for hunting if she ever wanted to.

Don't be afraid to try a 12 gas auto. I have a Beretta AL391 Urika that my 10 year old shoots duck loads with no problem. It's pretty light and points great. Can shoot skeet and doves all day without gun wearing you out. Turkey loads shoot well and cycle but the recoil is a lot more but that is only a 1 shot and done anyways. As for skeet, you won't notice much difference. The Beretta can be found in that price range used if you shop around. Saw 1 not too long ago in youth 20 in one of the TN gun classified ads.
I looked at those myself in 12 gauge and really like what I've read. Probably more than he wants to pay right now.drrxnupe":2is77acg said:
