Question for anyone that may do this or know, I have a deer head and cape that's been in the freezer for 2 years. Never had the money to mount it due to being out of work with Covid all last year Would anyone be able to mount it or is it best to just boil it and call it done?

Only way to know for sure is to thaw it out and check for freezer burn. Mainly around the eyes and ears.

Any reputable taxidermist could be honest with you about it.

Our Dermestid beetles are working now on three whitetail heads (for skull mounts) from a customer which were frozen for several years in his parent's freezer. They are looking great as skull mounts. I also like the idea of using a fresh replacement cape (from an older buck with small or messed up rack) which I frequently donate to a local shoulder mount taxidermist as replacement. (We don't do shoulder mounts).
