#2 What a stalk

Long story short - Got to lease at lunch yesterday and they wont gobble so i got my gun, binos, facemask and gloves and headed out. Spotted him in a clover strip which is in middle of a clearcut now. Spotted him from 800 yards away strutting with one hen. Went to crawling on legs and knees for 2 hrs and he went behind a brush pile. I jumped up an closed distance to pile and snuck around edge and there he was. I let the nitros do there job and he collapsed. I was exhausted.

11 inch beard with 1 1/8 spurs. No scales at check in station. Went mohican sneakin on em.

Putting the sneak on one can be difficult. First time I did it my buddy told me to and I thought he was nuts but it worked out and I got the bird. Congrats!
