Was blessed to get #2 down this morning. Made a move on him and spotted him on a ridge a little over 100 yards away. Called a few times but just strutted and gobbled. He went into a low area in front of me and met up with hen. Thought the game was over. I figured I'd try some aggressive calls to get the hen to come investigate. She answered back but didn't move. All got quiet for a bit then I hear a spit and drum. Then once again closer. Then again as he comes into view. Comes out of strut and I pull the trigger at 30 yards. 18 lbs 8 inch beard and almost inch spurs.
