Well went out with my dad today before school and got it done. We hunted a spot we have hunted for a long time and i decided to hunt with pops today since i haven't been with him in a while. He was on top and i went down and sat at the edge of pine thicket. Right at day break had a doe run by and a 7pt running behind her. She dropped off in bottom and led the buck right by me lol big mistake! He stopped about 30 yards away and snort-wheezed i guess to get her to run but didnt work so he stopped and i lowered the boom on him. Great buck great day and great memory with my old man.
 
Great story, it has been quite awhile since I have had the opportunity of hunting before school, but loved those days that I did get to! Unfortunately now work starts too soon to enjoy that. Congrats!
 
Congrats man. Love the hunts with the old man. We're mostly always together on hunts. Noone I'd rather hunt with. Post up pics
