Lol. I let a beautiful 2.5 7 point tall rac outside ears walk. The neighbor farm hunter killed it. 2 buck limit saved him for 5 more minutes

I've seen a lot of deer on the side of the road the last week. I almost hit a small 5 point Saturday afternoon, he couldn't get traction on the wet asphalt and I was trying my best to slow down. Luckily he slid around a little bit and finally got enough bite to get out of the way.

You think our insurance rates will be going up to cover the extra deer collisions?

I've seen a lot of deer on the side of the road the last week. I almost hit a small 5 point Saturday afternoon, he couldn't get traction on the wet asphalt and I was trying my best to slow down. Luckily he slid around a little bit and finally got enough bite to get out of the way.

Saw a Lexus SUV hit one on way to work this morning in front of me. Driver bout took out 3 more cars after the impact.

Had the same thing happen opening morning of MZ season. Had a basket rack 6 point come in. Now I always hold out for a big buck during rut so I would not have taken him regardless. Maybe during bow season. But he got a pass. About 20 min later on a neighboring farm I hear a crack of a MZ. Later that morning on the drive to lunch I see him on the side of the road on the back of a UTV. The boys from Knoxville had killed him.

So the two buck limit worked...well sorta I guess.

If I pull the trigger I know he is dead but if I let him walk at least he has a 50-50 chance he will make it.

I would say around me its probably a lot less than that. I have the Bozo patrol from Knoxville. 10 guys from Knoxville who all got together and bought 100 acres across the street from me and they all come down Opening weekend of MZ and rifle season and try and Hunt it. Needless to say they shoot shoot shoot anything and everything and spread out onto other properties they should not be hunting on.

After opening rifle weekend less and less of them start showing up but its still a lot of popping going on.
