Ok so it's been a tough season so far! Last year I had deer everywhere, this year not so much! But anyway first want to say the bucks were cruising Saturday and I don't think the rut is far away! Haven't seen a buck all year and saw 3 Saturday all nose to the ground and steady pace, never stopping longer than 10 sec to look around! But anyway hunted all morning and never saw a deer close enough to shoot at!
UNTIL I got down out of my tree and turned around to a doe staring me down at 50 yards, I thought what do I do now! Believe it or not she put her head down and started feeding! That's when I got my bow off my stand and let one of the boyz fly! 52 yard double lung! She ran 50 or 60 yards and piled up, dirt nap! Not going to lie, she was small maybe 80 pounds but boy she looked tasty!! I'll take it!!
I would post a pic but yall would call me a baby killer!! LOL
