Here is my issue. I removed carb, disassembled and cleaned it, blew it out with my compressor and put it all back together, and reinstalled it. Since I had the tank off, I cleaned it and replaced the fuel lines. I didn't have a filter, so I reused the old one. Put it all back together, and it didn't seem like the filter was filling up good, so I just stuck the line back on the carb and left it sitting in my garage. Left, and came back in about 45 minutes, and see gas all over the floor. I get to looking, and there is no gas leaking from the carb or the tank. Its coming out of the crankcase. I had cranked it a bunch, but never got it to fire earlier, cause I thought I need a new filter. So I unscrew the oil dipstick and discover that the fuel is draining and has flooded the crankcase. Note: this had happened to me 3 times before. Any idea what is the cause? I was considering buying a new carb off of ebay. I found a seller that is selling new carbs for like $139. Most places want like $400. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I tried sending TN RDG Runner a PM, since he works on em, but for some reason my PM just sat in my outbox, so I thought I would post here.
