I got on there and could only find one and it was a bid. I don't know how to look up past sales

Stock looks pretty glossy, was it refinished? That would hurt. Just look up searches on gunbrokers and completed auctions. A few minutes of reading and you can find it.

I had to look three times to see the octagonal barrel.

This one indeed may be a bit special.

Really, most 30-30 are barely worth a yawn they made and sold an awful lot of them.

However, this one bears more looking into.

Nothing special stamped/engraved somewhere? You look under the butt plate?
