Just picked up a RIA 1911 GI, really don't know why, just felt good in my hands and it's been a long time since I owned a 1911. While not totally new to the platform, since it's been a while since I owned own, just curious what some of the essentials to have on hand. Spare parts, tools, upgrades, etc.
I already had dies for my SDB on hand so I just ordered a new toolplate to get setup for reloading the 45 as well.
TIA

I like a magwell on my 1911s. I also highly recommend 8 round Tripp Cobra magazines.
