Looking for a 16 gauge Remington 1100. North of Nashville.

I had one in 1973. Bought it new (my dad did the paperwork) from pushing groceries. $175.

I even wrote Remington and asked them if they were going to discontinue making 16's. Of course they said no. I killed A LOT of quail and later grouse with that shotgun.
Later sold it in Lnoxville at a gun show.

One thing I noticed about yours AND mine is that the receiver is only cut out 2/3rds back as opposed to others where it has a thinner cutout that almost goes to the back of the receiver? Never knew why.

Been looking for 1100 in 16. Used to shoot my friends as a kid in high school. Shot thousands of rounds through that 16. Nover owned one with pressed scrollwork. Interested. Can you PM me? Thanks
