I have a nice blued and wood 1187 That shoots 3inch shells. I have been looking at swapping for a supermag 870 with a 21-25" barrel in camo. What I am wanting to know is how much boot should I be asking?

$100-$200 depending on the condition of both.

Ditto,

Would depend on condition of both, but I would be leaning more towards the $250 mark in all fairness, the 11-87's are not cheap and I am not so sure they make them in a wood stock anymore.

They actually do make them in wood still. They reintroduced the old checkering style, seen on early 1100's, but the wood is not as nice. A new 11-87 costs about 600. A new 870SM is around $350. There is about a $250 difference. Factor in depreciation and the fact that the 870 is a supermag, $200 is more than fair if both are mint. If one is jacked up then adjustments can be made. I am biased, because through a matter of great luck, I got a NIB, unfired 11-87 12ga synthetic 3" for $200 out the door.

yeah Grizz I saw one at jackson Walmart a while back for 327 but yesterday it was gone.

I can buy the one at my local walmart and then you can buy it from me.... I can bring it down your way about mid Jan when I am close to Camden on work.

Thanks for the offer Grizz but I found one at Paris for 347. Also found a used one local. I just have to get rid of a mine first. Dont need both.

Sweet, best of luck..... I don't think you will be disappointed.

I shoot a Kicks .665 with Win. Sup. HV #5's for woods hunting.....

and an Indian Creek Black Diamond .665 with Hevi-Shot Mag Blends.... for field hunting.

I love my super mag! YOu will be very happy with it. Grizzly suggested the Kicks .665 and #5's for me last year, and that combo will blister up an ole gobllers noggin! :)

I also have a like new Comp-N-Choke .665 for the super mag if you're interested.

I hope it performs as well in your SM as it does in mine.... Glad (hope you are that is, from my advice) your happy with it and wish you many birds over your shoulder!!

I have a .665 jellyhead that a friend bought and didnt like and he gave it to me before I got rid of my 1187 supermag. I never got to shoot it but its still in the package in my cabinet. I will try it out when I find the one I want or I will swap it for a .660
