and a wake up, until the bow opener. Way too long for a countdown thread, :)

It felt like Fall when I went outside this morning. Got me to wondering how many more days.
 
It's probably closer to 100 for me. I'm headed to Colorado mid-september on a backcountry elk hunt and will be hitting TN just in time for the opener.
 
Yelp im ate up with it cameras been out for a month now checked them today and on one have took 780 pic on it and i am like a kid on Christmas going threw all these pic
 
My blood is starting to get thick, little nubs are breaking out of my forehead and I've started peeing outside. Not really sure I can make it 111 more days. :)

It will be here before we know it for sure. Funny how the same sort of things like a cool morning, the smell of wood burning, days getting shorter, the first leaves start to change colors set us all off.
 
I did not count the days, but for me, barring unforseen problems, I begin the last Monday in August...whenever that is.
 
I love bow season as well as anybody, but I just turned 60 and life is passing way to fast, so lets not be in too big a rush. Let's all go fishing for a while and just dream whitetails

amen. lets enjoy the last couple weeks of spring then a long hot summer with plenty sunshine.
