I've been pondering the Woods TW-555 cams and pushrods, but price wise, I can do a helluva 107" build by the time I tear it down for the cams.

For a tad more I can do CP forged pistons 10.25:1 compression,
bored OEM cylinders ,Wood Knight Prowler TW-555 cams, Wood Performance Directional Lifters, Quick Install Pushrods,
all necessary gaskets, o rings, and Torrington inner cam bearings .

While I would like to do the heads, I can keep the stock heads and do this build (installed) for under $1700. I've seen several dyno charts for this build and peak TQ is up around 115 , while HP numbers are in the 105 range. Of course this all depends on your breather, exhaust and dyno man.

As far as bang for the buck, it's going to be hard to beat. I've got a new winter project! :grin:

Can't argue with that statement, I have rode a Honda VTX 1800 that was pretty impressive. Here a few weeks ago I took a ride on a Yamaha Raider, that was one running cruiser for dang sure. I have 2 Honda 4 wheelers (1990 Foutrax & 2000 Foreman) and neither of them has had a bolt turned on them other than the oil drain plug and a battery put in them since they were new.

There are alot of good motorcycles out there no doubt, but there is something about being stratled across that rumbling American Iron that I just can't get away from when it comes to street bikes.
