19 lb 8 oz 9 1/2 beard 7/8 Spurs. Don't hate setterman. No gobbling so about an hour crawl thru cutover and 40 yard shot. At least I didnt fan him. Lol
 
Congrats on your bird! How did you know which way to crawl "through cutover" without any gobbling to guide you? I'm assuming you put eyes on him, devised a plan, and he stayed put for an hour.
 
I spotted from some high ground in a clover strip. I made a big loop and started crawling to where I saw. Between us was a little log loading deck. When I got there I stopped and glassed a minute a spotted them again and crawls through some cat tails and got to 42 yards and stood up in the cat tails and waited for them to separate. They didn't move but about fifty yards from the first time I saw them.
