Food Plots 1 Summer plot done

1/3 of this is a variety of soybean, 1/3 Is a mixture of mung beans, cow peas, soybeans and sunflowers, and 1/3 is another variety of straight soybeans. The two soybean only areas are RR the other mixture is not. I broadcast the seed and mowed my beautiful wheat , oat , red clover over it. I got my non RR area sprayed and some of the other sections and then the rains descended . I'll finish spraying after the rain stops. Only thing I wished the wheat , clover seed heads were drier but I wanted to get the stuff in with this rain window. We shall see.

Right now, models look like these regular rains will continue for at least the next two weeks. However, that has not been the pattern the last few years!

I'm going to wait until my crimson clover is fully dead before seeding and mowing. I want all that free seed for next year!

Don't blame you. I should have but I never know how my schedule will go. My 3 acre clover plot looks great and I've mowed it twice already . I'll hit it with 0-0-60 before the next good rain .
