Whew...I thought I was going to be empty handed during muzzleloader but I connected on this doe this evening that had a young buck in tow.

100 grains BH209 and 250 grain Hornady SST= Bang flop and clean pass through.

Rut is ON in Marshall County!

They come off of trees with 4 or 5 inch thorns that will flatten tractor tires.

He's from the East, I've never seen one here either although I suppose there are a few. They are much more common in the Middle and Western part of the state.
I don't know why they [Osage Orange] don't grow here.........weird.
