#1 Dead....Not my biggest but I wouldn't trade it for nothing...
Started this morning off by hitting some black ice on the interstate with the cruise set....
got tot the corp land with one of my good friends that I told I would take hunting...what sets him apart from the others he has hunted his butt off most of his life and only has one to show for it and is in a 13 year slump...yep no deer for 13 years...I just knew I could fix this problem...I told him that we are killing anything and everything down here anything goes. About 730 I seen this yearling doe easing in to my left with Nathan on my right....I glance and Nathan he never looks over, look at the deer, look back at Nathan he never looks I thought well I'm gonna kill her, ease my gun up chocolate chip cookie the hammer and let the T/C bite smoke is sticking to me seems like so I look backm at Nathan to hope for guidance and he was giving a thumbs up and he said I woulda filmed that! You hurt her bad she won't go far! As the morning continued I was kinda weirded by this cause I thought crap he has came with me and now I'm acting stingy....about an hour later 3 big does jump out of the thicket in front of him and he is already on em and on go KAWOOOOMMMMMMMMMM I see her high leg kick and run right to my tree, others still standing around, I shot at one of the others standing there real quik and missed didnt have much of a window but I was getting greedy acting lol, Nathan looks at me and says where did she run I said she is laying right under my tree no she ain't ya look YOU DA MAN, he was tickled and so was I thats why I wouldn't ask for any bigger of a deer for this morning Life is GOOD!
