And I am off to OH for my first out of state hunting trip. Couldn't be more excited. All public land hunting. The anticipation is KILLING ME!

Oh in that case,no need to worry then. Hope you whack a good un.

So, obviously your traveling to Ohio to hunt a big deer. My question is, how big is the biggest deer your willing to let walk? Is it a bigger deer in Ohio than here? Will that deer get smaller on evening of day 6? Just wondering.

Good luck up there, I hunt Adams county to, I killed this one up there last year on Nov. 11 hot on a doe. There are some big ones running around up there, hopefully I can connect with another one this year.

private, but, i would say anywhere in Adams county holds some monsters...

It will take a solid 160+ to get me to draw my bow back............ YEA RIGHT! Considering it is public property, and the very first time I have gone to that place, we will just have to see what is considered a big boy when the big boy walks out. Gone 8 days so say what you want but on day 7, arrows will be flying!

Neck Shot, that is a complete hoss! Congratulations on that deer! Very impressive.

So what is the goal? 125", 140"? Just curious.

Last year in Illinois I let a nice 110" 8-point walk on the second day of our bow hunt before the first season. Second season returned and killed a 100" 6-point with my muzzle loader. The 6-point was a 5 1/2 year old with 18" spread, lots of mass, and long G-2's. It was a trophy to me, just did not have the points to score much.
