1,370.4 Miles

Got back last night from a 5-day sojourn to Louisiana. Ran the Natchez Trace end-to-end, down through the bayous, back up through Memphis and then on to middle TN last night.

Didn't make it to Lake Charles because my battery died Friday night; lost half of Saturday hunting down a new one and installing it. Gives me a reason for another bike ride.

Time to saddle back up for this morning's ride to work. :)

Only down side was that it was HOT HOT HOT.

By the way, for anyone contemplating driving the Trace end-to-end: skip it. The 50 miles closest to Nashville are interesting, the 50 miles closest to Natchez are pretty good, but the 333 miles in between are booooring.
