Currently I'm shooting .019 true glo sights but would like to change up to a spot hog with wrapped sights. I'm debating between the .010 or the .019 fiber optics. Can anyone give me a little advice?

Thanks

This will make absolutely no sense to you, because .019 and .010 are sizes...and you would think/assume that when a company says their optics are .010s, that it would be universal...the same size.

This is NOT the case. I thought it was my imagination or an optical illusion at first...until I held two sights in my hands and looked at them both at the same time.

Spot Hogg fibers are larger than they say they are. That's all it can be! What Spot Hogg calls a .010....is what other companies call a .019. Especially in the Montana Black Gold and TruBall Axcel sights...their .019s look identical to the Spot Hogg .010s. I held a Hogg It with .010s and a Axcel Pro with .010s in my hand and looked at them both.

I could barely see the .010s on the Axcel.

Yet the .010s on the Hogg It look to be the same size as my .019s on my Black Gold Vengeance.

As for me...I am going the opposite way. I thought I could shoot better with smaller fibers...but I've found the opposite to be true for me personally.

That's what it looks like to me....when I went to get another sight I told them I wanted 010s because of that...the 019s on the Hogg It that I had looked big....so I figured 010s would be spot on. That's when he handed me both sights to look at.

Also your shooting will probably suffer by going to a smaller pin because the smallness will allow you to see more of the target and you will want to "hold" the pin right in there causing tension in your bow arm and you will have a "flier". Just my opinion.

I have shot. 19 for years and just this year i ordered sights first 2 are. 19 and 2 .10 my eyes are not great so. 19 at 50yardscover to much of the target and i could not get comfortable even practicing at that distance but since im using. 10 i can tell a world of difference at 50yards
just my 2cents
