Thought about ditching the vest as I got a run n gun 100 which is like a reverse backpack I guess. I still want a cushion. How do y'all carry a cushion without the vest. I don't want to lug around a turkey chair. I have tried that before and for short walks at smaller places it's fine but long walks it's a no go.

I think what I'm going to try this season is a combo of a folding seat + my waterfowl blind bag, which has the "Thermos" strap on top. That's where I'll stick the chair.
Basically a "satchel" style setup with the option of a chair.

But I am not 100% sure yet. The well-reviewed chair I'm looking at Browning/Alpz Strutter) weighs 7 pounds!

This little seat is the best thing I have found easy to use the strap over your head and seat is on your back, legs fold in while moving and then out when you are ready to sit. Not bulky and comfortable to sit on.

Lookup Glenda Green on Facebook. I've Used her inner tube cushion for a few years now for both turkey and deer hunting. Attached a piece of paracord to it. Well worth the $40.

That's what I do.
How do guys keep that from flopping all over the place when it's attached at 1 point to your backside belt? When I got a bit older and needed a softer seat than the ground a few years ago, I did this for a couple years. I lost a couple in the woods, and just realized they weren't attached enough to me to not get left behind somewhere.

Get the knight and hale run-n-gun vest. The cushion has adjustments and is always on your butt at all times. Whether you are walking, running or whatever, it is already in place every time you plop down. Never a need to grab it and place under you as you sit down. Love mine

I have an old camo pad that came with a tree stand.

I use camo paracord string and just tie around my waist. .

I guess it would flop some if I were sprinting, but at my pace it's good.
