A few years ago I got tired of having to make a 14 hour round trip just to bushhog one of my hunting properties, so I decided to let it grow up and keep selective areas of it cut and planted in food plots. So, the result was a 10 acre thicket bordering a 100 yard wide strip of mature hardwoods, followed by another 5 acre thicket. In the last 2 years deer use of this area has exploded, and I'm now getting many pics of deer of all ages using the edge of the hardwoods between the two thickets. 4 years ago I began seeing a white squirrel in the area, and have seen it every hunting season since. But I've never seen a piebald deer, although my brother said he did about 15 years ago in this same area. So, I've always been hopeful I'd run across one with similar genetics. I pulled my cards yesterday after a few days and got these shots. Obviously a young doe, but hopeful she'll make it through the season to pass on her genes.

Unusual. My parents lived in KY and someone had released some black phase grey squirrels. I borrowed a hunting video from a friend. Camera was in a tree stand overlooking a field of orchard grass. Watched the grass move. An albino buck came out into the food plot!

That's exciting.
