It's not great and I like the old one better.

NWTF lost their way a long time ago. It wasn't perfect when I got their in 1990, and never was so afterwards, but it started going down hill when the internal power struggles heated up during Keck's last years. They got the title of the magazine fixed, finally, but the content rings hollow for serious turkey hunters.

The NWTF is getting hammered on Fakebook for their hideous new logo. The only people that are going to buy any merchandise with this logo are stoned hipsters that run across it by accident and think it's a seahorse. I suspect TFT will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Very well said sir

Speaking of the NWTF, do you know anything they have done for the wild turkey lately? I'm not saying they haven't. Just asking. I feel like they have gone the way of Ducks Unlimited. I drove by DU's place in Memphis a few years ago and saw a fleet of black Hummers parked outside. It seems that most of these organizations and charities like to blow money on themselves, while largely ignoring their purpose.

I give NWTF lots of credit for restoring the wild turkey. But it will also be the downfall . They are all about their selves and money. Promoting the wrong kind of hunters into our sacred sport.
