anyone used one of these that has some opinions on them. I have an older 20 gauge I am gonna get cerekoted at some point this year but in the mean time I was thinking of wrapping it. Is it slippery on the stock once get it on? does it leave residue if you take it off etc.

I did it years ago on a gun and it worked just fine as long as you follow the directions and take your time. It's a little shiny though

I did my kids 870 youth 20g 4 or 5 years ago. It was a beat up gun show special for $185. I like the looks of it and the finish, but like Setterman said, a little shiny in sunlight.

I've used a couple and have had very good results. Take your time, use a heat gun, and a sharp razor blade. No residue and not slippery. It's a great alternative to having one dipped because it's way cheaper, way more durable, and when you get tired of it you can peel it off and put a different camo on it.

I've had 2 different wraps (wanted to change patterns) on the same 870 20 ga for 5-6 yrs now and they are well worth the money. I don't notice a difference in feel compared to a factory camo gun. Like others have said, you need the right tools, a little time, and a lot of patience to install but it isn't difficult. I say every year that I'm going to get the gun dipped but it's still wrapped.
