It seriously has me wanting to drop DirecTV. My main argument to the wife was wanting the Outdoor channel, Pursuit channel and Sportsman's channel. I've always preferred not to watch "celeb hunters", but I just like to watch deer, turkeys and predators in general and that's why I watched them. The ones I mentioned are REALSounds like you stole my subscription list

I was using a waterproof canon camcorder only because it's small and fits the scope mount better. Audi quality ain't great but it's a decent camera. Don't remember where I got the scope mount
Any advice on a quality microphone?
I've watched various videos, but would rather not spend the money on a Rode if a cheaper Amazon mic will do a decent job.

That's one thing I bit the bullet on is a decent microphone. Was using a Rode and switched to an Azden because the rode picked up a lot of noise from the shock mount. Both good mics, I think give or take $250 range
