A couple of deer on my farm in east TN... The big one I'm after hardcore, and the younger one is just crazy looking! Any thoughts or comments, particularly score and age of the big one would be appreciated.

The middle and last one are actually the same deer, I just haven't gotten any straight on shots of him since the velvet came off (no day time pictures since then either).

If the first one keeps those characteristics until he's mature, he could be a real freak.

I seriously doubt that deer has fully functional male parts, if any.

I'm curious what has you so certain it's doe? I'm not arguing, just genuinely curious... I was thinking it was just a skinny 1.5 year old with some crazy horns.

Antler characteristics like that are typical of a doe with antlers or a buck that's had testicle damage. Ive seen two antlered does that had antlers just like that. Google images doe with antlers to see some like it. I cant remember what its called when a buck gets testicle damage but in velvet results in "cactus" buck out of velvet they stay in hard horn, both never shed. Somes does lose velvet some dont. I dont know why some does do and some dont.

Hmm... I had every intention of letting it walk all year (already got one free pass during archery) in hopes of it growing into some kind of gnarly non-typical... If it's a doe, I almost want to take it now just because of the uniqueness.... Decisions, decisions
