Gotta brag on my little girl

My little girl is 4 and just now getting into fishing. We have been making short trips to the pond near the house, but I have been taking her on short trips to Citico trout fishing. Last saturday was a little slow and we moved around looking for fish a lot. We came to a large pool below some rougher water. She casted her spin cast reel with power bait into the pool while I threw a rooster tail. I had a fish strike and immediately set the hook and handed the rod to her. She fought the fish all by herself! When she got it to the bank and I put a death grip on it she said, "Wow daddy, I am so proud of myself!" LOL. She had a blast and has told everyone about her big fish

I have no clue why it is upside down......

That's awesome man! My 3 year old little girl is my favorite fishing partner, also my loudest

She will remember that fish for the rest of her life, I know I remember all the exiting trips I made with my father and grandfather as a small child.

That's really cool, and I'm sure one proud dad. Way to introduce her to the outdoors, she will remember these times forever.

My daughter started out trout fishing with me when she was 4. Now she is twenty and nearly married but you know what....she chose to go fishing with me this symmer over being with her boyfriend one Saturday. Man that was a gfit to me that I will always remember in addition to all those years of memories of us fishing together.
