Nope. Lol The water was rising and that means the cats will bite. Caught this one in the same situation while bass fishing .

^^ yeah I've did the same think before. Caught one on a rattle trap bass fishing last year. And caught a couple with curly tails grubs trolling for crappie

thats a nice boat there allout....my dream boat would be one of them jetboats you see in the northwest rivers with full enclosures with a galley.. :D but id love to run it from celina to lake cumberland on low waters.....someday....as of right now i got 3 boats that do the tasks of low, high, and inaccessible waters.
nice flathead...especially on a lure

Thanks shorefisherman! The boat is a riverpro and runs very shallow. The flatheads came on a power craw when the water was rising. And that was one of 2. I hung a third fish in the same spot but it managed to break me off after a long struggle. I figured it was another big flathead?
