I hunt with a 16 or 20 a5 unless it’s raining or I’m in a pit. The boss shot shells are copper plated bismuth. They are safe for the old guns and are pretty tough on ducks. I shoot #5 or #6

All my kids are now of trigger pulling age and I am planning for some first ducks this season after years of watching and shooting cripples. Looking for someone to mount a couple birds this year if it all works out. If you know or recommend someone, I would appreciate it.

I would try Burrus brothers outfitting. I hunt in the same area and talked to the guy at a restaurant a couple weeks ago. Seemed very nice. Everything I hear is that they have some good spots and a nice set up. I have seen them recommended by several people.

I’m pretty sure slicks is full forever. I think their clients rebook at the end of the hunt for the following year and there is a waiting list hundreds long. I contacted them 3 years ago stating I would take any opening for 1-8 people any day and haven’t heard anything yet.

It will be fine. I like them colder than the fridge so I would leave them in a plastic bag and put on ice. Either in a cooler or in a bowl or tub with ice in the fridge. When I bring back seafood from the gulf I do it in a styrofoam cooler and put the whole thing in a fridge until I eat or...
