    2023 Kill Thread

Life changes have made it hard to be in the woods these last two years. Fortunately I was blessed to be able to go once during mz with a buddy. Thanks to him for putting me on one.

    So Close

Was able to score on a doe opening day of blackpowder in the CWD zone. Between that day and opening of duck season, been able to go a few times myself and taking a young kid in hopes of getting him one. He's seen a number of younger bucks but after telling him he was gutting this one, he's...

I’ve seen two of anti-venom’s post. They reminded me of the type of posts an adolescent used to post on here.

    My first born baby girl

Congrats dad and to the young lady. As the proud papa of a girl, I LOVE to see them in the field hunting with us daddies. I've got several girls on my Trap team and love having them. Kudos to all you dads out there who get your girls involved. Not all dads do if you can believe that.

Deer hunting in the " Old Days "

    Do Deer Eat These?

Round here we have black locust and honey locust trees. HL are the ones with the wicked thorns. They most definitely eat the HL, not sure about the BL. Arrowed a doe one time with one in her mouth.

    Weather Outlook

True but getting up at 3:15, eating breakfast and getting skunked is not as attractive as it used to be. waking up at 7:30 and drinking coffee in the recliner as I get older is starting to pull on me some mornings.
