After you have killed 2 turkeys in the statewide hunt, can you kill a extra turkey on Ft Campbell or Catoosa?
Thank youNo- these are no longer bonus birds, and would also count towards your statewide limit in Tennessee.
LOL you missed that boat by about 20 years. Way back yonder in the 90s the limit was 2 statewide, and 2 wma. Then it went to 3 statewide and 1 wma, then in about 2005-7ish it went 4 statewide with wma birds counting toward that total. After you have killed 2 turkeys in the statewide hunt, can you kill a extra turkey on Ft Campbell or Catoosa?
Even on Ft. Campbell?No- these are no longer bonus birds, and would also count towards your statewide limit in Tennessee.
There may be some exceptions to that, on certain WMA's. The 2 mentioned in the first question aren't bonus birds though. So another words you can only kill two birds statewide no matter if its a WMA like LBL,Fort Campbell or Catoosa and public or private land!!Two turkeys in Tennessee is most you can kill!
Yep, all quota and non quota WMA count towards the two bird limit. They have some quota hunts and non quota hunts on some WMAs but they may count as birds in the two bird total limit for the state!
I wouldn't go on any hunt then.Yep, all quota and non quota WMA count towards the two bird limit.
I know it's that way in KY, wasn't sure about TN. That's why I asked.Fort Campbell is a bonus and does not count towards your state limit
Yes sir, it's a bonus but just 1 now a days. I hunted it last week since I've killed my 2 regular tags and it's pretty close to home.Plan to be back this weekend weather dependent.I know it's that way in KY, wasn't sure about TN. That's why I asked.

Yes! Read, read again, and then read again. I can't speak for Campbell, but having hunted Knox multiple times you need to make sure all your i's are dotted and t's are crossed.Wrangler - make sure you are very read in to FC rules and regulations. From permit requirements, to safety briefs, to background check, to firearm registration to call in times, to fines and suspensions. It's not a place you want to be unprepared. Good luck!
Yes sir, agree with this. It's a lot more fine print than most places.Wrangler - make sure you are very read in to FC rules and regulations.
