762x39: $475/case
I have a a couple of cases of 762x39 steel case ammo available. My son sold his AK so I have no need of this any longer. Looked around on line, the lowest I found was $510/case plus sales tax and shipping.
556: $475/case
Also have some 556 ball ammo. On line looks like about $500/case plus tax and shipping.
Just clearing out stuff I no longer need. Will be listing some shotgun ammo and other stuff in coming days.
Cash face to face please.

Not sure I would agree with you sir. I looked at bulk ammo.com, lucky gunner, palmetto arms, target sports USA for my price checks. Also checked Smokey Mtn Knifeworks. They do not sell by the case. Ball 556 is 12.99/box or 649.50/case.
But if I find it is cheaper, I will adjust accordingly.

I aint got a dog in this fight but most folks, me included, use ammoseek.com for bulk ammo. I looked just saturday and I can get M855 to my door for 450 or maybe a little less. 223 is cheaper than that.

I have not tried ammo seek. I noted in prior comment the sites I reviewed prior to my ad. Here is what I found 2 days ago:
Bulkammo.com 762x39 $509 556 $442
Lucky Gunner $510 $500
Palmetto No 762x39 avail $619
Target Sports USA $575 $439
I just looked at ammoseek. Their 762x39 is 473. (plus shipping and sales tax) You are correct they have some 556 lower.

All before sales tax and shipping.
I will watch the market!
So I can look at offers and/or just hold it for now.
thanks

Yeah you can get that stuff cheaper shipped to your house online good luck
That's the kinda crap comments we use to kick out of the forum. If you want to talk crap about someone's prices - have some decency and do it via messages vs taking a crap in his classified ad

And again, it's his post/Ad. Why does anyone feel this burning desire to tell him he's high? If he's too high, time will make it apparent.

I normally do my very best to ignore the morons. One quick swipe here - I'll be ignoring yet another.

Sorry to be the instigator of so much BS. Here x 2 days and gotta say it reminds me of why I left town those many years ago and did 30 years in the army. A few reasoned responses and the rest is very sad. I am pulling my ad and have no plan to renew my supporting membership. Will stick with the American Legion and VFW. The Cr@p we say is always face to face in in good fun. Was clearly not expecting this.

You , didn't cause the problem. A seller has the right to post whatever they want to sell at whatever price they want……

I stand with Kimber45. Pass or buy but don't criticize the seller's ad and/or price.

I understand and thank you. The childish stuff demonstrated here was disappointing. Was hoping to meet a few folks, perhaps allow some of the old (or young) folks to hunt on the farm, move some ammo around to invest in another caliber etc. Using a member forum to call other members "hypocritical turds", "morons" and "ignorant"... And I presume these are adults posting. Can only wonder what the kids are like. Anyway, I appreciate your kind words sir.

Truly apologize for the part I played in this. Now granted still, we're not your "typical Classified" as you'd likely see in other Ads. The "norm" is us helping each other here. The other side of helping is not the norm here. We do cut up & aggravate at times because sooooo many of us now know one another. But at the end of the day we've helped each other obtain things as large as vehicles across the state, all the way down to pocket knives. We even have our own MULE (or Jackazz) depending on the day he's having @Specializedjon .. 😁 .. Hope you don't let this run you off .. as, it surely does get better!

If you decided to hang around I feel like you'd be glad you did long term. I've hung around nearing 20 yrs, met dozens of members, been to several massive member get togethers.. and done a few deer camps too.

paburke6 - this thread is not a good representation of the TnDeer forum I have been a part of the last 27 years. If I may, I ask that you reconsider your choice to leave and give us a second chance. I fully realize you have only been a member a few days, and typically, we do not get a second chance to make a first impression. For every one thread like this, I can point to hundreds of others over the years that were positive, helpful and encouraging to fellow members. Please give it some thought. I'll end by saying thank you for your service to our Nation! It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

I will say one thing that hopefully any new member will take to heart: if your first post, or even in the first 10 or 20 posts, is selling a weapon or anything dealing with a weapon I get very suspicious. Join the campfire, make some posts so people can evaluate the new guy, and then try to sell.

That's just me, but my trust level for outsiders is very low.

That being said, glad you sold the ammo.

Remember some of us didn't get to take a deer this year , let alone the " target " buck, so tensions are high! Ha!

This family of misfits unfortunately sometimes puts the " fun " in dysfunctional!

I would agree with your concern had the ad not suggested face to face. Who wants to ship ammo?!

Face to face wouldn't allay my concerns; it's the fact a new person comes onto a hunting site and immediately wants to sell without anyone knowing anything of their background. I'm just skeptical in those instances...

I've met close to a hundred members in my travels over the years and I've not met one that isn't somebody I would trust. I'm proud to call most of them friends. If we only meet during daytime hours and in public places, you're the reason I use the word "most" 😂

You won't find a better group of men and women anywhere.

Sorry your thread went the way it did. I assure you you'll have a better experience moving forward.

Look forward to meeting you sir.

All of us should be.. There has been another recent theft/shooting I'm told where two parties met-up to buy-sell a gun listed on Armslist. If it's someone I'm not familiar with and can't ask another member about before meeting up, I'm going to at least talk on the phone with them.. and even that is not enough. Probably 12 yrs ago I sold my AK.. listed on here and put my phone number in the Ad.. A guy calls - sounded like a sharp person.. seemed legit, and YES I'm about to Profile.. So I drive about 18 miles from my house to meet this guy.. started thinking, he never did answer my question about "what are you driving".. So, about a mile out I pull off the exit ramp and text again. "Well the color depends on how the light hits it, but it's a lifted Impala".. My oldest son was with me, and said Dad something doesn't smell right. So, I'm in a lifted Jeep with 35" tires which I'd already told the guy. I go ahead and drive thru the parking lot on the outside to get a look. Four brotha's with dreadlocks down their back.. standing outside the Impala. Needless to say, didn't stop. Waited about 3 miles up the rd headed home and called him. I explained that there was no way I'd sell to a bunch of thug looking dudes in a lifted Impala… for obvious reasons. He actually apologized and said Yes I guess it's not the best look for buying a firearm. I proceeded to tell him I'd never sell one to even 1 dude in dreadlocks etc.. because unlike many, I DO profile. He did claim he had a carry permit.. may have, but I wouldn't have sold any of em as much as a bbgun. Don't get me wrong as I've traded rifles and double barrels with a plethora of old black guys who were rabbit hunters etc.. but that's not what these guys were. They were obviously gang members. You simply cannot be too careful.

Still sold my AK that day. To a local trustworthy guy for less money.

I'm right there with yall. First time I got one mailed to me I was apprehensive. It was kimber or 7mm08 don't recall. Did meet one of yall over in Jackson for another purchase once. I thought the price was a little steep for pre owned but I wouldn't even think of calling that out, and even pay market value a lot or even a touch over for something I know will never leave my family. I almost responded to it just because I could use it. There is an ettiquette to this forum and it should be adhered to. It's your merch, you can ask what you want for it and I fully support that. Don't let a turd in the yard keep you from appreciating a nice lawn.
